Colorado Asian Pacific United (CAPU) is on a mission to unearth, celebrate, and memorialize the rich tapestry of Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) histories in Colorado. Their dedicated efforts are geared towards the AAPI community across the state, as well as the Colorado population at large. CAPU sought my studio to revamp their digital presence with a goal to secure donations for their vital projects and to showcase both completed and ongoing community initiatives.
The primary challenge was to strike a balance between sophistication to attract significant donors and accessibility to effectively communicate their mission and projects to their audience. I initiated a transformation by migrating CAPU's website from Wordpress to Squarespace, streamlining the platform for more efficient management.
The results were exceptional. CAPU now boasts a modern, clean website that not only captures their mission but also makes it accessible to all stakeholders. The website serves as a dynamic hub for showcasing CAPU's accomplishments, projects, press, and initiatives, bridging the gap between their mission and the broader community.
A significant addition to the website was a dedicated project gallery. This intuitive feature allows each project to shine with its unique page and content, offering a seamless experience for visitors eager to explore CAPU's impactful work.
In conclusion, CAPU's website transformation has not only modernized their digital presence but also created a vital platform for sharing AAPI histories and community projects. My studio's commitment to accessibility and sophisticated design has helped CAPU fulfill their mission while engaging a broader audience and attracting support for their valuable initiatives.
