Danielle Carter

Danielle Carter, an American writer, editor, and translator based in the Netherlands, required a polished and professional online presence to showcase her services and expertise to her target audience of academic, culture, and museum publications in Europe. To address this need, Danielle collaborated with my studio for a comprehensive visual identity and website project.

The main objective was to create a website that not only conveyed Danielle's services but also provided examples and relevant information to address common inquiries. She also wanted a platform for her blog and newsletter. I successfully designed and developed a professional, branded website that effectively showcased Danielle's work and expertise. Additionally, a cohesive visual identity was crafted, including the curation of colors, typefaces, and website imagery, to establish a consistent and memorable brand presence. We made the website bilingual to show off her translation skills and appeal to a primarily Dutch audience. We were also able to collaborate on some additional pieces for the website, like a feedback form for her clients and a collection of email templates.

The outcomes were remarkable, with the new website generating a significant increase in contact form submissions from potential clients. By eliminating frequently asked questions through well-presented examples and information, Danielle's online platform now serves as a valuable resource for her target audience. Though no unique design elements were incorporated, the overall visual identity and website design effectively communicate Danielle's professionalism and competence in her field.
